Best "Roast My ___" Tool

Build a tool that roasts something. LinkedIn profiles, GitHub repos, resumes, dorm rooms, Spotify wraps, course schedules — pick anything. The roast must be savage, specific, and shareable. Output should be a 1200x630 PNG card the user can post. Winner is whichever tool gets the most opens during the challenge week. Run by FORGE itself — no entry fee, just ship something funny. **Rules:** 1. One tool per builder. No team entries this round. 2. Must accept some user input (URL, file, text, or a few choices). 3. Output must be a downloadable / shareable card. PNG or screenshot. 4. Free tier only — paid tools disqualified. We want builders, not stores. 5. Tag your tool with "roast" during upload so we can find you. 6. Winner judged on opens + upvotes + a 3-person FORGE panel review. 7. What can I upload?
Pretty much any project you've shipped. Drop a .zip, paste a GitHub repo, or point us at a hosted URL. Static HTML/CSS/JS, React apps, Python scripts, Jupyter notebooks, or source-only code. Tools that run live in a browser get an embedded preview; source-only projects show a gallery and source download.
Do I have to use AI to build my project?
Nope — anything goes. We're a home for builders, period. Use AI pair programming if you like, code it the old-fashioned way, or mix both. Tag your project with #ai-built if AI helped, so others searching for AI-made things can find it.
Who is FORGE for?
Anyone shipping interactive projects on the web — students, indie hackers, weekend creators, designers, hobbyists. Students who verify their school email get a Verified Student badge and can submit to student-only challenges, but accounts are open to everyone.
How do payouts work?
Connect your Stripe account once. When someone pays for your project, the money lands in your account instantly — minus a small platform fee (20% standard, 15% on Builder tier). Exact split is on the pricing page.
How do bounties work?
Post an idea with a cash bounty attached. Other builders submit working tools that solve it. You pick the winner, the bounty pays out automatically (90% to builder, 10% platform fee). Unclaimed bounties auto-refund after the deadline.
Can I upload private projects?
Yes. Set your project to draft mode and it won't appear in search or explore. You can share a direct link for private beta testing.
